Lightships & UFOs 2024

9th January 2024 – Walker Flat, South Australia

Looking back over our photos of Lightships and sightings that we’ve had in 2023, it was a great year, especially in the latter part of 2023. We are feeling confident that 2024 will bring even more amazing photos of Lightships and sightings!

Shelley and I enjoyed 11 wonderful days on holiday in South Australia in the middle of January and the timing was great for really dark skies at night around the new moon. One of the highlights of our trip was a night-time visit to the River Murray International Dark Sky Reserve, the only one in Australia and one of only 15 in the world, with an exceptionally dark sky. Darkness readings above 21.9 (out of 22 – total darkness) are common in this region. Surprisingly, it is only about a 90-minute drive north-east from the South Australian capital, Adelaide.

We were totally mesmerised by the sheer number of stars that we could see with the naked eye in this Dark Sky Reserve, which we just never get to see in the Perth Hills in Western Australia, because of Perth’s light pollution. We saw many satellites traversing the sky, but we also saw several Lightships.

Here is an example of a part of the night sky with five satellites going by, forming light streaks in this 2-second exposure shot. Look at the amazing number of stars that are visible. Part of the Orion Constellation can be seen at lower left:

10th January 2024 – near Tailem Bend, South Australia

The following night we drove a little way south from Tailem Bend and randomly turned off onto a gravel road to get away from the main highway. I took lots of photos of the night sky, with satellites, planes and some Lightships passing overhead.

Here is an interesting 15-second exposure shot clearly showing the light trails of two moving planes with red and green strobe lights, but there is also a light trail of a Lightship at the top of the image (see arrow) that was flashing on and off continuously! It’s not a satellite as they leave solid light trails when they reflect light (see previous image) and they do not flash.

11th January 2024 – Port MacDonnell, South Australia

The following day on our South Australian holiday we travelled to Port MacDonnell on the south coast. That evening we went outside to look for moving ships in the night sky. We spotted a bright light (a Lightship) moving fairly fast towards the Orion Constellation, and in fact it passed right in front of Eta Orionis. Here is the ship in soft-focus as it passes the star. The other three stars at lower-right form Orion’s Belt. Note the various colours present in the ship in soft-focus, representing various energies/beings onboard:

I have found that photographing Lightships and stars in soft-focus appears to be a way to see more of the energies present. This is not a process where I’m a passive observer. My focusing on a Lightship or star while photographing it is a two-way interaction, like an conscious ‘energy’ exchange or acknowledgement. It has taken a bit of experimenting over the last 4 or 5 months to know how much or little to de-focus the camera. It feels like the de-focusing process is a form of tuning-in to the higher-dimensional light transmissions of a ship or a star. The results are fascinating and can include ever-changing colourful scenes from a ship or a star, appearing like colourful orbs. It feels a bit like looking at a colourful scene through frosted glass. The scene may not be the right way up either, so I often have to rotate the image until it feels right when tuning in.

Here are a few more images of the above ship taken in soft-focus from the same photo series. Notice the “ship scenes” change rapidly with the series taken at about two photos per second:

26th January 2024 – Darlington, Western Australia

It was a sunny Australia Day public holiday today, and I saw these interesting clouds coming our way from the west and was anticipating their arrival after lunch. Shelley and I popped out onto our veranda and there was a spectacular cloud show in the sky and over our house. We could see lots of diamond-light sparkles in the blue parts of the sky. Shelley felt this cloud to be particularly energetic and could feel Star Family nearby, with lots of tingles around her crown while looking at this cloud. I took lots of photos of this cloud and it turns out there was a small, colourful podship that came out of the cloud and then popped back in again! Here it is just to the right of the cloud over our house:

I photographed the little podship in nine consecutive images as it was popping out and back into the cloud:

12th February 2024 – Darlington, Western Australia

It was a really hot day here in Perth on Sunday 11th February, and it remained very warm late into the night. We both had trouble sleeping and Shelley got up at about 11:45 pm. From the kitchen window that has a view of the Perth hills towards the south, she spotted a soft pink/apricot-coloured flashing light slowly moving to the left of one of the communication towers in the distance. There are two communication towers on the hills to the south of us that are always lit up in red lights at night and this makes them convenient markers in the distance. The flashing light, clearly a Lightship, then moved back towards the red lights of the communication tower on the right.

Shelley decided she better get me out of bed, as she had promised that she would wake me the next time she saw any ships out of the kitchen window at night, as she has spotted them a number of times previously. I jumped out of bed, grabbed my Sony A7R camera with 135mm lens, and still in the buff… LOL, climbed onto the veranda railing to get a clearer view of the hills to the south. Through the camera lens I could see the Lightship rapidly flashing different colours, and at times there appeared to be two lightships in the sky to the left of the communication tower:

One of the Lightships provided a beautiful light show, rapidly changing colours, to the left of the communications tower with red lights:

I continued to take lots of photos of this Lightship rapidly changing colours and blinking on and off. Here is a video that I made of some of the high-resolution still images of the ship. The ship changed colours very rapidly, but in the video I’m showing each image for 2 seconds. The first set of images is ‘in-focus’ while the second set is in ‘soft-focus’ to show more of the energies within the ship:

Towards the end of this ship’s colourful light show, it started flashing red on-and-off at 12:16 am, as if to say “end of transmission”. Here are four images of the ship with the red light on just before it blinked out:

28th March 2024 – Darlington, Western Australia

We’re having an extended summer with continued hot weather in autumn with severe drought conditions here in the south-west of Western Australia. It has been pretty quiet here for a while too, with no night-time flashes, light streaks or day-time decloaking from Star Family ships.

However, late this afternoon as the colours changed with the sunset, I spotted a very curious cloud overhead. From where I was photographing it from our front garden it looked like the cloud was pointing directly to our place, with a female figure sticking out the side of it. It looked like she was riding the cloud like a kayak. Curious indeed! Later, when I showed Shelley the photos of this peculiar cloud, she could feel very strong energies and recognised the female figure as one of our higher aspects from Star Family:

31st March 2024 – City Beach, Western Australia

Three days later on Easter Sunday we were enjoying an afternoon in the pool at a friend’s place in City Beach. The clouds were very interesting so took lots of photos. I spotted a cloud to the west that looked like a whale eye and discovered later that a beautifully colourful Lightship had briefly decloaked near it at the same level as the whale eye:

21st April 2024 – Darlington, Western Australia

The following morning there were expressive clouds drifting by, so I made the most of it and took several series of photos. A small pearlescent Lightship appeared just to the south of us, at top left in a photo series taken at 9:30 am that morning:

28th April 2024 – Darlington, Western Australia

Some interesting multi-level clouds around lunchtime today. A small, beautifully colourful, pearlescent lightship briefly decloaks in the sky just to the north of Darlington, while shooting photos over our roof (with the gutter at bottom right). The pastel colours within the ship are representative of the energies/beings on board:

10th May 2024 – Darlington, Western Australia

It’s very common for planes taking off from Perth Airport to fly over us in the Perth hills, as that appears to be their flight path heading towards the eastern states of Australia. Fortunately, they’re flying fairly high up by the time they reach us so it’s not too noisy. In my experience it’s not uncommon to see a small lightship or podship in the same photo as a plane. This morning I took a series of photos of a plane flying over and a podship appeared faintly in some of the photos with the plane. In one photo the podship gives a bright flash as shown in the following image:

A podship gives a bright flash just as a plane is flying past us overhead towards the east at 11:29 am, 10th May 2024.

Later in the same minute, a beautiful small lightship decloaks momentarily near the same spot just to the south of us:

I went outside later that afternoon to take a quick look at the sky and was surprised to see a perfect bow-shaped cloud to the west in an otherwise unremarkable sky. It looked so unusual and out-of-place that it got my attention straight away! This cloud was quite stable and remained visible for several minutes. From past experience it is very common for higher-dimensional ships to form particular shapes in clouds. We refer to them as ‘cloud-ships’. This is a perfect example of one, and it was likely formed by a bow-ship of some kind, possibly Arcturian:

A perfectly formed bow-shaped ‘cloud-ship’ in the sky to the west of Darlington at 3:45pm, 10th of May 2024.

When I took a closer look at the bow-shaped cloudship in the photos, I noticed a male bearded face in the cloud just to the right of it, and it was looking at the cloudship. There’s no doubt in my mind that the two are related. Again, it is very common to see a prominent face or multiple faces associated with a ship in our photographs. Once you see the face, you can’t unsee it. 🙂 I’ve circled it here for clarity:

1st June 2024 – Darlington, Western Australia

Beautifully sunny day with expressive clouds drifting by from the west. Took lots of photo series and in two of these series there were Lightships present. I’ve made a nice 4K video featuring these photos here:
